We are a group of Commercial Pearl Farmers located in the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez), Mexico. To our knowledge we are the sole producers of saltwater cultured pearls in the entire American Continent.
Our farm in Bacochibampo Bay, Guaymas, Sonora, grows a unique variety of Pearl Oyster known as the Rainbow Lipped Oyster (Pteria sterna) capable of producing incredible naturally colored pearls known as “Cortez Pearls” in the jewelry trade.
Finally, as of May 27th, 2010, we are still the Only Cultured Pearl listed in the “Fair Trade Gems” list.
